Resin Surfacing

Resin Bond Surfacing

By bonding or fixing loose gravel aggregates to surfaces such as concrete, asphalt, wood and metal the HFN resin bonded surfacing system gives an attractive hard wearing but low maintenance surface that gives the appearance of loose stone with the convenience of fixed paving. The HFN system lays or scatters aggregates over resin to a depth of 3mm using an aggregate size of 1-3mm. The curing time is 3-5 hours.

HFN can provide a range of aggregates in different colours such as Buff, Natural, Golden Pea, and Autumn Bronze. This type of surfacing can be used for footpaths, cycle paths, housing developments, and cemeteries.

Resin Bound Surfacing

Using a range of aggregates similar to the process of resin bond surfacing the HFN resin bound gravel surfacing provides a smooth, contemporary attractive, hard wearing surface but low maintenance porous/semi porous surface. The aggregate is added to the already mixed resin and then further mixed, before lying at an average depth of 15-18mm. This gives a seamless bound paving effect which can be used for car parks, driveways, footpaths, landscaping schemes, ramps, office developments and roads.
